Juventus are keen on signing the former PSG striker Edinson Cavani this summer.
The Italian giants have been linked with a move for Luis Suarez as well but the striker is yet to finalise his pay off with Barcelona.
Cavani is a free agent right now and he could prove to be a useful addition to Juventus’s attack.
The 33-year-old has proven his quality in France and he was a quality player for Napoli when he was in Italy as well.
It would be fair to assume that Cavani wouldn’t need a lot of time to settle into Italian football once again and he could make an immediate impact for Juventus next season.
The Italian champions need to add more depth to their attack in order to compete on all fronts and someone like Cavani would be an upgrade on Higuain.
The Argentine striker has been linked with a move away from Juventus this summer and the Italian side are looking to replace him with Cavani or Suarez.
According to reports, Cavani is a backup option and he will only be pursued if a move for Luis Suarez falls through.
It will be interesting to see who they end up with eventually.
Roma striker Edin Dzeko has been linked with a move to Juventus as well.
All three players are proven goal scorers and they would improve Juventus next season. The Italian giants will be hoping to win the Champions League next year and it will be interesting to see if they can make the necessary additions before the transfer window shuts.
