Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is no longer on speaking terms with defender David Luiz after his training ground bust-up with Dani Ceballos.
The Brazilian defender was involved in a nasty training ground fight with the Spanish midfielder and it is believed that the incident has soured the relations between the player and the Arsenal manager.
The Arsenal manager has also expressed his disappointment with the fact that the training ground incident was leaked to the press.
Arteta has claimed that he will find out the person responsible for the leak and there will be consequences.
He said: “I don’t like the fact that that incident comes out at all. I will find out where it is coming from and if that is the case, that goes completely against what I expect from each other, the privacy and the confidentiality that we need, and there will be consequences.”
So far there is no suggestion that David Luiz was behind the leak but it seems that his conduct in the training ground as disappointed the Arsenal manager.
The Brazilian has been a key player under Mikel Arteta and it will be interesting to see if the Spanish manager decides to cut him out of his first-team plans.
Arsenal are going through a rough patch right now and they are very much in the relegation battle as things stand.
The Gunners will have to improve immensely in the coming weeks and it will be interesting to see if Arteta can turn around his team’s form.
