The Portuguese ace has been heavily linked with a move to PSG.

Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with an exit even before the start of Ralf Rangnick’s reign.

According to ESPN, PSG are planning to sign the Portuguese superstar if Kylian Mbappe leaves next summer.

The French World Cup winner’s contract expires at the end of this season and Real Madrid are looking to sign a pre-contract with him in January.

The report also adds that superagent Jorge Mendes has offered Ronaldo to Paris Saint-Germain in a bid to link him up with Lionel Messi.

It was reported earlier that the 36-year-old wouldn’t hesitate to leave Old Trafford should United fail to win any major trophy this season.

Now, United’s new boss Rangnick has heaped praises on Ronaldo in his first press conference, claiming that he hasn’t seen a player fitter than the Portuguese star.

Ronaldo hit a stunning brace, which helped the Red Devils beat Arsenal 3-2 in the Premier League on Thursday.

Rangnick also added that Ronaldo would not have any problems in adapting to his system.

Rangnick said (h/t Mirror): “You always have to adapt your style or your idea of football to the players you have available, not vice versa.

“Having seen Cristiano against Arsenal in the second half, at the age of 36, he’s an amazing top professional.

“At his age, I’ve never seen a player who is still that physically fit. He’s still a player who can easily make the difference.

“It’s about how we can develop the whole team, not only Cristiano.

“We play in the most competitive league in the world, so we need all the players on board. What I saw from Cristiano, he’s more than willing to do that, to put his input into the team, and his team-mates will have to do the same.”

Rangnick is set to make his managerial debut against Crystal Palace on Saturday and Ronaldo would look to build on his impressive display against the Gunners.
