The English Premier League is replete with some of the wealthiest owners than any other leagues in football.

Here is the list of top wealthiest managers in the English top flight.

Sheikh Mansour (Manchester City) (reported wealth – £23.3 billion)

The owner of Abu Dhabi Group, as well as Manchester City, is the richest of the league with a reported wealth of £23.3 billion. Mansour took over the control of Citizens in 2008, and it would mark the dawn of a new era. Since then City have managed to win: four Premier League titles, 2 FA Cups, five times winner of EFL and three Community Shield wins while bringing in some of Europe’s best players.

Roman Abramovich (Chelsea) (reported wealth – £9.6 billion)

Chelsea broke into prominence especially when Roman Abramovich bought the club in 2003. The Blues had their best period in terms of success and transfer signings following the Russian’s arrival. Abramovich is the second richest owner of the league with a reported wealth of £9.6 billion. Chelsea’s current transfer window – outrageous spendings in around a decade – is the best instance to testify Abramovich’s wealth.

Stan Kroenke ( Arsenal) (reported wealth – £6.8 billion)

Arsenal’s owner Stan Kroenke is the third in the list. The American Billionaire, who also owns Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, took complete control of the club in 2011. Kroenke is seen as a villainous figure by the fans, owing to his reluctance to invest big in the club.

Guo Guangchang (Wolves) (reported wealth- £5.2 billion)

The founder of Fosun Group, Guo Guangchang bought Wolves in 2016 and has since been uphill for the Molineux outfit. Raul Jimenez turns out to be the club’s record signing till date, with the Mexican costing around £30m.

Nassef Sawiris (Aston Villa) (reported wealth – £5 billion)

The African billionaire became the owner of Aston Villa in 2018. Villains followed up with an excellent season, earning promotion to the Premier League. Wesley Moraes, the club’s record signing also happened last summer.

Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha (Leicester City) (reported wealth – £4.6 billion)

Aiyawatt became the chairman of Leicester City, replacing his late father Vichai in 2018. Under the King Power Group, Foxes have turned into quite a force in the Premier League, winning the title in 2016.
