Raphinha overtakes Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah on top of Sky Sports Power Rankings

Raphinha-Leeds United

Sky Sports have ranked the Premier League players according to their form over the past five matchdays and it seems that Leeds United winger Raphinha is currently on top of the power ranking charts.

The power rankings are given out on the basis of 35 different statistics including goals assists blocks and tackles from players.

According to the Sky Sports rankings, Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah is number two on the list with Watford’s Ismailia Sarr completing the top three.

Mohamed Salah has been outstanding the season and he recently extended his goal run to four league games and he also picked up his 100th top-flight goal for the Reds against Brentford.

The reason he is second on the list is because one of his goals was a penalty and he missed three big chances over the last five matchdays. Also, Raphinha’s goals were deemed more difficult because his chances were farther away from the goal.

Manchester City defender Joao Cancelo is fourth in the rankings. The Portuguese international recently assisted Manchester City’s winner against Chelsea in the Premier League.

Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper Jose Sa is 5th after keeping two clean sheets in his last three games.

Brighton striker Neil Maupay scored a late equalizer last time out and he is sixth on the list followed by Everton winger Andrews Townsend, Leeds United’s Illan Meslier, Everton’s Abdoulaye Doucoure and Newcastle star Allan Saint-Maximin.
