AC Milan

Title-chasing AC Milan will look to make it three wins in three games when they welcome Sampdoria to the San Siro on Sunday.

After beating Inter Milan in the derby last weekend, the hosts capped a fine few days with a comprehensive 4-0 win over Lazio on Wednesday evening in the Coppa Italia.

Portuguese striker Rafael Leao got the Rossoneri off to a good start, before French forward Olivier Giroud bagged his second brace in the space of four days to seal a semi-final clash with Inter next month.

The win means that the hosts have reached the last four of the Coppa Italia for the third time in four seasons.

They will now turn their attention to their title quest, looking to pick up all three points that will see them keep their quest for the title alive.

Milan have earned 52 points so far in Serie A – lifting them within two points of Inter, having played a game more.

Given their record at home in this fixture historically (W40, D12, L11), they will fancy their chances of winning this game.

Possible AC Milan starting line-up

Mike Maignan; Alessandro Florenzi, Alessio Romagnoli, Fikayo Tomori, Davide Calabria; Sandro Tonali, Franck Kessie; Alexis Saelemaekers, Brahim Diaz, Rafael Leao; Olivier Giroud.

Injured: Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Fode Ballo-Toure.

Doubtful: None

Suspended: Theo Hernandez

Sampdoria

Sampdoria will look to gather more momentum in their quest for survival when they travel to the San Siro on Sunday.

The visitors come into this fixture on the back of a huge 4-0 win over Sassuolo. Francesco Caputo and Antonio Candreva scored at either end of the match, with January signings Andrea Conti and Stefano Sensi scoring in between.

The win brought a halt to their five-game losing streak and gave former Sampdoria favourite Marco Giampaolo his first win since replacing Roberto D’Aversa at the dugout.

They will now look to build on that much-needed three points, which took the Blucerchiati five clear of the drop zone.

Given that Sampdoria have avoided defeat in their last two league clashes with the Rossoneri at San Siro they will fancy their chances in this game.

Possible Sampdoria starting line-up

Emil Audero; Bartosz Bereszynski, Alex Ferrari, Omar Colley, Tomasso Augello; Morten Thorsby, Albin Ekdal, Stefano Sensi, Antonio Candreva; Giovinco; Francesco Caputo.

Injured: None

Doubtful: Mikkel Damsgaard

Suspended: None
