Metz

Metz will be desperate to get back to winning ways when they host Marseille this Sunday.

The hosts are in danger of dropping to the lower division, having taken just 20 points from 23 league games this season.

Their last league outing was a 0-0 draw with Troyes, and they saw them record their third scoreless outing in their last four Ligue 1 matches (W1, D1, L2). Although they are two points better off than they were after 23 games of their 2017/18 campaign, they still have it all to play for this season when they last went down.

They will be desperate to get a result in this game, but given that they have collected just 35% of their points at Stade Saint-Symphorien this term, they cannot be backed to get a result here.

Possible Metz starting line-up

Alexandre Oukidja, Dylan Bronn, Kiki Kouyate, Jean-Armel Kana-Biyik; Fali Cande, Boubacar Traore, Vincent Pajot, Thomas Delaine; Farid Boulaya; Ibrahima Niane, Opa Nguette.

Injured: Sofiane Alakouch, Nicolas De Preville, Fabien Centonze, Kevin N’Doram, Matthieu Udol, Manuel Cabit.

Doubtful: None

Suspended: None

Marseille

Marseille will look to bounce back from their cup exit when they travel to Matz on Sunday.

The visitors were eliminated by Nice at the Coupe de France this week, losing 4-1 in normal time.

But their last league outing was a 5-2 win over Angers; a game they came back from an early 2-0 deficit to win.

They will travel to Stade Saint-Symphorien looking to maintain their slender one-point advantage over Nice.

Possible Marseille starting line-up

Pau Lopez, Pol Lirola, Leonardo Balerdi, William Saliba, Duje Caleta-Car; Matteo Guendouzi, Boubacar Kamara, Gerson, Dimitri Payet, Arkadiusz Milik, Cengiz Under.
