Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer, and Roma are keen on signing the player.

Jose Mourinho wants to improve his attacking options, especially with Edin Dzeko expected to move to Serie A champions Inter Milan this summer.

Dzeko has already agreed on personal terms with Inter Milan.

According to the latest reports, Chelsea have now agreed on a deal with Roma for the 23-year-old striker.

The Italian outfit are set to pay £4.2 million to loan the player this season, and they will have the option to make the move permanent for a fee of around £33.9 million in future.

The player has been linked with a move to Arsenal as well, but Chelsea prefer to sell him abroad instead of strengthening a direct rival.

Abraham struggled to hold down a regular starting berth at Chelsea last season, and the impending arrival of Romelu Lukaku will only push him further down the pecking order.

The player is yet to agree on personal terms with the Italian club, and it remains to be seen whether Jose Mourinho can convince the young striker to join up with him in Rome.

Abraham needs to join a club where he can play every week, and Roma could provide him with that opportunity next season.

The Chelsea player has been linked with multiple Premier League clubs as well. It will be interesting to see if he is open to moving abroad in search of a new adventure.
