The Swede’s contract at AC Milan expires at the end of this season.

AC Milan star Zlatan Ibrahimovic has opened up on his future, expressing his desire to continue with Rossoneri for years.

The Swede’s current deal at San Siro expires at the end of this season but he is not interested in leaving Milan without winning the Scudetto.

The 40-year-old said ( h/t Sky Sports): ” I want to play as long as possible. As long as I have that adrenaline, I will continue.

“Let’s put pressure on Milan here to give me an extension and I hope to stay at Milan for life. I still have objectives that I can achieve and I want to win another Scudetto.

“I don’t know what will happen after football, so I am a little scared to stop. We’ll see, but I want to continue playing so that I don’t have any regrets.”

Ibrahimovic continues to defy his age by putting up some impressive performances for Milan.

He mustered a total of 15 goals and 2 assists in Serie A last season and helped Milan qualify for the Champions League after a long time.

The former Manchester United ace has found the nets 6 times in 9 league appearances this season.

However, he hasn’t opened his account yet in the Champions League this year and would be hoping to do in the final group stage game against Liverpool.

Stefano Pioli’s men have to beat the Premier League giants and hope for Atletico Madrid and Porto to drop points in order to progress to the round of 16.
