PSG Forwards faltered big time
It was not only Neymar who was at fault. Kylian Mbappe, Angel di Maria both missed opportunities before the halftime. In any other day, PSG could have taken 3-0 lead. Among them most easiest being that of Mbappe, but the pressure perhaps did affect his usual play.
After the Bayern goal Marquinhos missed a chance to level the score. During the last few minutes, Eric Choupo-Moting failed to provide direction to a Mbappe through. This was the same situation as against Atalanta, Choupo-Moting scored winner from Mbappe through that day.
Mauro Icardi again, was not used. Though he doest not come into team if talent is the criterion for team selection. But he could have provided strong-willed leadership in PSG attack.
