Central Coast Mariners

After a three-week absence from competitive action, Central Coast Mariners will get back to the league this Saturday when they host Newcastle Jets.

The host’s last outing was in the FFA Cup against APIA Leichhardt. They won that game 6-0, taking their wins for the season to six in eight games.

In the league, Nick Montgomery’s side have won their two games by 2-0 scoreline in each game. Coupled with their 6-0 win in the FFA Cup, the hosts come into this tie on a run of three consecutive clean sheets.

They are currently sitting fourth in the league table, three points behind table-toppers Melbourne Victory. A win in this game will give them the needed boost in their quest for a top-two finish.
