Bayern Munich Transfer: Real Madrid keen on Coman, Haaland urged to join Real Madrid

Real Madrid keen on Coman

Real Madrid are thought to be keen on signing the Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman.

The French international has dropped down the pecking order at the German club after the resurgence of Leroy Sane and Serge Gnabry.

According to Defensa Central, Coman is keen on a move away from the Bundesliga giants when the transfer window reopens in January and Carlo Ancelotti is looking to sign the player. The Spanish club are prepared to offer around €35m for the player.

It is no surprise that Real Madrid are looking to add more quality and depth to their wide areas especially after the performances of Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard this season.

Both players have failed to hit peak form and they have struggled with injury issues as well.

Coman is undoubtedly a top-class talent and he could prove to be a key player for Real Madrid during the second half of the season if the Spanish giants can pull off the transfer.

Haaland urged to join Real Madrid

Meanwhile, former Bayern Munich star Lothar Matthaus has urged Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland to snub the Bavarian giants and join Real Madrid instead.

Haaland has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich and Real Madrid in recent months and it will be interesting to see where he ends up.

The former Bayern Munich star believes that the Norwegian striker would fit in better at the Spanish club and he should take up the chance of playing alongside Kylian Mbappe who is also expected to move to Real Madrid at the end of this season.

Matthaus said (via Daily Mail): “Haaland may end up at Bayern after (Robert) Lewandowski. But not alongside him. Haaland would fit in better at Real Madrid with (Kylian) Mbappe.”

Bayern Munich will need to sign a quality long term replacement for Robert Lewandowski soon and the signing of Haaland would be an exceptional move for them.

It remains to be seen whether they can convince the Norwegian to join them at the end of the season.
