Manchester United lost to Brighton 2-3 in their second match of this season of Premier league, whereas Manchester City won today by a huge margin 6-1. Manchester looked like lost throughout the match and could not really recover from the situation when they were 1-3 down at 43rd minute of the match.

Brighton recovered very well in this match after their loss in the first match, and they played engaging game though out. Shane Duffy opened account for Brighton with a flick from a through from Solly March at 25th minute of the match. Duffy made it 2-0 with a placement from 6 yards from goal line, within 2 minutes of first goal.

Lukaku scored first goal for Manchester United with a header to reduce the margin 1-2, but Pascal Groβ score third goal for Brighton from a penalty at 43 minutes. Manchester United conceded a controversial penalty when Eric Bailly tripped Pascal inside the penalty area.

Mourinho was visibly unhappy after the match, and he showed his displeasure at both referee and his own players. This time he blamed his players for the mistakes they committed in the field but stopped just short of public censure of his own players. Perhaps he has learnt from the past.
