Robert Lewandowski’s former agent reveals Real Madrid dream

Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski‘s former agent Cezary Kucharski has revealed that that Polish international dreamt of playing for Real Madrid in the past.

Lewandowksi has left an indelible mark in Bundesliga, representing Dortmund and Bayern, but Kucharski has stated that the Spanish capital club was once a dream destination for his client.

“When we brought Robert to Germany, the plan was actually: Dortmund, Bayern, Spain, USA. And it’s no secret that Real Madrid used to be his big dream.

“But Spanish clubs are currently not financially strong enough to afford him, and he has certainly realised in recent years that Bayern is the ideal club for him.”

Lewandowksi has been linked with an exit this summer; however he has brushed off the speculations by expressing his desire to continue with the Bavarians.

The 32-year-old recently equalled the record of German legend Gerd Muller’s record of most number of goals (40) goals scored in a single Bundesliga season.

Bayern Munich are said to be in the race for Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga alongside Arsenal and Real Madrid.

The teenage midfielder could be a demand in the upcoming transfer window as Rennes expects him not to stay beyond this summer, with his contract expiring in 2022.

Camavinga has been impressive over the last two seasons, and his precious talent also caught the attention of the France national team, with whom he made his international debut last year.

PSG are also said to be interested in signing the 18-year-old.
