Bayern Munich preparing opening bid for Laimer
RB Leipzig midfielder Konrad Laimer has been linked with a move away from the German club this summer and it appears that Bayern Munich are keen on signing him.
The German champions certainly need to add a more physical presence and defensive steel at the heart of their midfield and the 24-year-old Austrian international could be a quality acquisition.
Apparently, the Bundesliga joints are preparing an opening bid of around £15m for Laimer and it will be interesting to see whether RB Leipzig are willing to accept the offer and let the player leave this summer.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich are not the only side keen on signing the Austrian this summer and Manchester United are keen on securing his services as well as per the Mirror.
The Red Devils are set to lose Nemanja Matic this summer and they will need to bring in a quality defensive midfielder.
The 24-year-old midfielder has previously worked with the interim Manchester United manager Ralph Rangnnick and it will be interesting to see whether the German can help the Red Devils sign the 24-year-old this summer.
There is no doubt that Manchester United have the resources to tempt RB Leipzig into selling the player and the German outfit might prefer to sell him to the Premier League club instead of strengthening their title rivals Bayern Munich.
It remains to be seen how the situation develops over the next few weeks.
Laimer will be hoping to play at a higher level and the chance to move to the Premier League could be a tempting proposition for him.
