The way the Coronavirus outbreak has sucked much excitement from the transfer market, it is more evident that big money transfers involving buy/sell may not happen in this summer. Instead, clubs will have players swapping or loan deal in the transfer market.
Real Madrid and Transfer Market
Real Madrid and the management at Santiago Bernabeu are playing their cards very carefully this time. They have withdrawn their Pogba interest, and currently concentrating on getting Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland, two of the superstars in the post-Messi-Ronaldo era!
Los Blancos are also aware of the big-money transfer may not be feasible this summer and may wait till next year for both the stars.
But Real Madrid are still to decide on Gareth Bale, James Rodríguez and maybe a couple of other to unlock some fund for big transfer. As Mino Raiola hinted that he would bring “somebody huge” to Santiago Bernabeu this summer, would turn out to be none other than – Erling Haaland.
Erling Haaland ready for Big stage
Both Erling Haaland and Mino Raiola are convinced by now, that Haaland is ready for the big stage at La Liga, with his blistering debut at Bundesliga, where he is almost chasing Robert Lewandowski, Timo Werner and teammate Jadon Sancho in the race of highest scorer, despite joining Borussia Dortmund in the middle of the season.
Haaland’s Bundesliga Statistics
Haaland is currently at sixth position in the list of top scorers, with only nine matches (he started in six of them) out of 24 match-days played so far, with an insane rate of “a goal in every 60 minutes” till date. He received the award of ‘the best player in Bundesliga’ in his debut month (January 2020).
Mino Raiola ensured a ridiculously low release clause of €65 million, a very agreeable amount (even in post Coronavirus outbreak era) for European giants willing to sign the golden boy of football, who is already a star performer in his teens.
