Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon is said to be in the line for a new deal, which could see him extend his stay beyond this summer.

Now, Juve have decided to hand the former PSG man a new deal.

Swap deal for Italian defender rejected.

Juve have reportedly seen a swap deal rejected by AC Milan for star centre-back Alessio Romagnoli for whom they were trying to include Federico Bernardeschi. One of the key reasons for the deal to fall over was Bernardeschi’s wages, which are higher than Romagnoli.

Expected front three for next season.

Juve are planning for a fresh season across all competitions next term due to their lacklustre performances this season.

Ahead of it, the Old Lady have been speculated to form a new attacking partnership, which could give birth to a new trident of Federico Chiesa, Paulo Dybala and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo has been arguably Juve’s best player this season while Chiesa has become a revelation.

Dybala has been tipped to complete the final piece of the puzzle as he made an impressive return after a short hiatus.

However, the Argentine’s future at Allianz Stadium is up in the air as no breakthrough had been achieved between the club and the player over a new contract deal until now.
