Torres, 23, has established himself as one of the exciting young defenders in La Liga following his impressive displays with Yellow Submarine. He has also impressed with the Spanish national team while plying his trade alongside Ramos in the defence.
Arsenal have also been credited with an interest in Torres, with Mikel Arteta turning out to a great admirer of him.
Madrid’s defence under Zinedine Zidane has received a lot of stick this season for their inconsistencies. Although they were good on occasions, some of the defeats brought more spotlight on the leaky defence.
