Real Madrid are thought to be looking at a host of strikers as a potential replacement for Luka Jovic.
The striker returned to Frankfurt on a loan deal and Zidane wants to bring in someone who will add goals to this team.
Real Madrid are overly reliant on Karim Benzema for goals and the Spanish club has been linked with the likes of Sergio Aguero Olivier Giroud and Arkadiusz Milik.
The Manchester City striker will be a free agent at the end of this season and Real Madrid can sign him for a nominal fee this month.
Apparently, PSG are interested in signing the Argentine as well and it will be interesting to see where he ends up.
Meanwhile, Olivier Giroud has struggled for game time at Chelsea and the Frenchman would be a decent backup option to Karim Benzema.
Arkadiusz Milik could also be a handy option for Real Madrid. He is likely to come cheap given the fact that he will be a free agent at the end of the season and he is no longer a key player for Napoli.
The 26-year-old is not even registered in the Italian club’s squad for this season and he will be available for transfer this month.
Meanwhile, Martin Odegaard was punished by the Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane after the Spanish club’s Cup exit against Athletic Club earlier this week.
According to reports, the player wasn’t called up for a warm-up when his side was chasing the game but he was told to carry out exercises with the members of the backroom team post-match.
Apparently, there are differences between the player and the manager and it will be interesting to see if the Norwegian can carve out a place for himself in the first-team squad over the coming months.
