Chelsea are not worried about losing Reece James – unfazed by Man City, Real Madrid interest

Reece James is one of the big reveals from Chelsea during the 2021/22 campaign. With his remarkable style of play, he reach double figures for assists and scored six goals in all competitions as wing-back. 

Chelsea claimed that they are not afraid to lose Reece James, and also not worried if Manchester City and Real Madrid are having an interest in him. His contract with the Blues will run until 2025. and reportedly not currently among the top earners at Stamford Bridge. Hence, the west London club want to reward James with a new deal and a one-to-two-year extension. 

According to 90 Min, James has been associated with Chelsea since the age of six and his father is rooting for the opportunity that his son will captain the club. James vision his career with Chelsea in the long run. His commitment and loyalty belong to the Blues right now. 

Meanwhile, Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen have officially left the club. Chelsea are focusing to build a strong defence. Given that they have a new club owner, there could be much paper works to do during this transfer season.
