Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is only interested in a cash-only deal for star striker Harry Kane.

According to reports, Levy is demanding a cash sum of £150m for the striker who has made public his desire to leave last month.

Kane, who won the Premier League Golden Boot last season, has reportedly set his heart on leaving the North London club this summer to boost his chances of winning a club trophy.

Manchester City are leading the race for the signing of the forward and are reportedly willing to offer player-plus cash to bring the 27-year-old to the Etihad.

Pep Guardiola’s side are on the lookout for a forward that can replace Sergio Aguero, who has since signed for Barcelona and have made the signing of Kane priority this summer. They are willing to offer Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling as make-weights for the deal to sign Kane.

But according to The Sun, Daniel Levy is not interested in any such deal and will only accept the full payment of £150m to let go of his star man.

The Spurs Chief is a notorious bargainer and will look to maximise the deal value for the England captain.

For Kane, however, he is keen on a move. He has made staying in the Premier League a priority to enable him to fulfil his dream of beating Alan Shearer’s all-time goalscoring record in the Premier League.

With 166 Premier League goals to this name so far, Kane is sitting in 7th place in the all-time scorers’ record. Although he is over 90 goals shy of Alan Shearer’s record, at 27 years old, he still has time on his hands to catch up. He is currently the only active Premier League striker among the top ten in the scoring charts and is the second-fastest player to reach 100 goals behind Shearer.
