Everton striker Moise Kean has had a tough time in England so far.
The Italian was signed with a lot of expectations but he is still adapting to life in the Premier League.
Kean has faced a lot of criticisms recently and similarities were drawn with the controversial former Manchester City forward, Mario Balotelli.
However, Juventus star Giorgio Chiellini has now revealed that Kean is completely different to that of the former City striker.
Balotelli had a reputation of being mischievous but the Italian defender believes that Kean is nothing like that.
Some of Kean’s drawbacks can be fixed without any issues according to the Juventus star.
Chiellini said: “Balotelli only has the shot. There are those who now compare him with Moise Kean, a boy who appears rebellious and unmanageable, but is completely different from Mario.
“Of course, in Juventus youth he was punished many times, but when he played in the first team he always showed himself very respectful towards the group.
“Sometimes he does not hear the alarm and arrives late, but they are behaviours that can be changed without difficulty.”
The Everton striker came through the ranks at Juventus and therefore Chiellini knows him well. The youngster will be delighted to receive this kind of backing from a respected international star.
The 20-year-old has just one goal for Everton so far and he will be looking to add to that tally when the season resumes later this month.
Kean has the potential to develop into a star for Everton and the Toffees will have to be patient with him. The talent is there for everyone to see and Kean just needs a bit of experience to showcase his true potential.
