Manchester United keen on PSG goalkeeper Keylor Navas

Navas-PSG

Manchester United are thought to be interested in signing the Paris Saint-Germain keeper Keylor Navas.

The 34-year-old Costa Rican goalkeeper has been a quality player for the French outfit, but PSG are expected to sign Gianluigi Donnarumma on a free transfer from AC Milan.

The Italian goalkeeper is set to be Navas’s long term replacement in Paris, and he won’t want to be a second choice keeper.

Navas recently signed a three year deal with the French outfit, and PSG are prepared to sell him for a fee of around €12 million.

The 34-year-old is undoubtedly one of the best goalkeepers in the world, and he has proven his quality with Real Madrid and PSG in recent seasons.

Manchester United could definitely use a reliable goalkeeper like him next season, and he could challenge the likes of David De Gea and Dean Henderson for the starting berth.

Henderson is quite young, and De Gea has not been at his best for a while now. Navas could make the starting berth at Old Trafford his own next season. He could prove to be an upgrade on Solskjaer’s current options.

The 34-year-old will be hoping to play regular first-team football, and a move away from PSG seems ideal for him right now.

The likes of Juventus and AC Milan are keen on signing the goalkeeper who kept 18 clean sheets last season, and it will be interesting to see where he ends up.
