Bruno Fernandes signs new deal

Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has signed a lucrative four-year contract with the Red Devils reportedly worth around £240,000 a week.

The 27-year-old will now stay at the Premier League club until the summer of 2026.

The Portuguese international has been an outstanding signing for Manchester United and he has been the best player at the club since moving to Old Trafford.

It is no surprise that the Premier League side wanted to tie him down to a long term contract and the fans will be delighted to see that the player has committed his long term future to the club.

Fernandes joined Manchester United back in 2020 and he has scored 49 goals and picked up 39 assists during his 117 appearances at the English club.

The Red Devils will be hoping to challenge for the Premier League and Champions League titles next season and they will need to hold on to their best players in order for that to happen. Fernandes is undoubtedly a world-class player and he could help United reclaim their former glories.

Ronaldo to leave in the summer

Meanwhile, the Premier League giants are expecting Cristiano Ronaldo to leave the club at the end of the season.

The 37-year-old signed a two-year contract last summer but the Portuguese international is unlikely to stay at Old Trafford next year.

According to a report from football insider, Porto are apparently looking to make a move for the 37-year-old and bring him back to his homeland in the summer.

Despite the fact that Manchester United have struggled this season, the former Juventus star has scored 18 goals in 33 appearances.

Ronaldo is still capable of playing at a high level and it’ll be interesting to see where he ends up in the summer.
