Liverpool striker Sadio Mane is reportedly looking to end his stay at the Premier League side this summer.

According to reports on Saturday, the Senegalese is ready to bring the curtain down on his time on Merseyside in the pursuit of a new challenge.

According to Sportsmail, Bayern Munich are keen to sign the 30-year-old and he is intrigued by a move to Germany.

However, the situation with Mane and Liverpool is complex and could lead to a lengthy transfer saga that could rage on till the end of the summer.

Speaking to the press ahead of the Champions League final, Mane said that he was going to give a very good answer about his future after the game against Real Madrid.

But after the final Mane, has avoided the press and reporters as he did not make his way through the mixed zone in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Liverpool officials were reportedly taken aback by reports that he has made his decision about what his next move will be. He has yet to tell them officially about his intentions.

But reports are pointing out that it is becoming increasingly clear that Mane will leave Liverpool this summer. One such report comes from Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, who has said that Mane is attracted by the prospect of playing in Bayern Munich.

The 30-year-old joined Liverpool in June 2016 and, since then, has won six major medals, including the Premier League and Champions League, plus also finished as a joint-winner of the Golden Boot.

Barcelona have also been linked with Mane but are unlikely to be in hot pursuit of him as they are more interested in Bayern’s Robert Lewandowski. Should the Pole move to Spain, it will open the door for Mane to join the Bavarian side.
