Supercomputer predicts disappointment for Manchester United despite Ronaldo signing

Cristiano Ronaldo in action for Manchester United

Cristiano Ronaldo completed an emotional return to Old Trafford earlier this summer and a supercomputer has now predicted the final outcome of the Premier League this season following the arrival of the Portuguese international.

The supercomputer has predicted this season’s top four and it seems that Manchester United are set to miss out on the Premier League title despite the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Apparently, Manchester City are tipped to win the league this season with Chelsea finishing as the runners up.

Bitter rivals Liverpool are expected to finish in third place and Manchester United will complete the top four.

The Red Devils finished as the title runners up last season and they have signed quality players like Raphael Varane, Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.

It will be quite surprising if they drop down to 4th after such an impressive transfer window.

Furthermore, Ronaldo is a proven winner and he’s likely to improve Manchester United considerably in the final third.

The Red Devils needed a reliable goal scorer this season and Ronaldo’s arrival will certainly fix that problem for them.

Furthermore, the addition of Raphael Varane alongside Harry Maguire will strengthen Manchester United immensely at the back.

The French World Cup winner is a massive upgrade on the likes of Viktor Lindelof and Eric Bailly.

Jadon Sancho is also a massive upgrade on the former Manchester United winger Daniel James who joined Leeds United this summer.

On paper, Manchester United certainly have what it takes to win the Premier League title this season and it will be interesting to see if they can remain consistent and challenge Manchester City.

Furthermore, Chelsea have strengthened considerably with the addition of Romelu Lukaku and the Blues are likely to be in the conversation for the title race as well.
