The Italian manager was heavily linked with a move to the Premier League following his decision to leave Inter Milan.

However, Antonio Conte refused to join Tottenham after the differences between the two parties regarding finances and the ambition of the club. Apparently, the former Chelsea manager wanted a more ambitious project, and he wanted wages higher than the London side were prepared to offer.

Erik Ten Hag has done an excellent job with the Dutch outfit, and he could prove to be a quality long term addition for Tottenham as well.

The Ajax manager will bring a free-flowing attacking style of football back to Tottenham, and it could undoubtedly appease the fans.

Jose Mourinho style of football was heavily criticized before the Portuguese manager’s departure.

Ten Hag has recently signed a new deal with the Dutch outfit, and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham can lure him away from Amsterdam with a lucrative offer.

Furthermore, it will also be interesting to see if the Dutch manager can convince key players like Harry Kane to stay at the club beyond this summer.

The striker is thought to be keen on joining a club capable of winning trophies, and he has been linked with Manchester City.

Ten Hag has an impressive track record of developing young players, and he could work wonders with the vast array of young talent at Tottenham.
