Los Blancos want the Dutch midfielder as a part of Raphael Varane’s deal.

Real Madrid are considering a shock summer move for Manchester United outcast Donny van de Beek.

According to a report from The Daily Mail, the Spanish giants are likely to demand a loan move for the Dutch midfielder as a part of the deal for Raphael Varane, who has been heavily linked with Manchester United.

The Red Devils are said to be closing in on a summer move for Varane, who has been keen on seeking a move away from Bernabeu.

Madrid are looking to make full use of the French defender’s transfer by asking for a loan option for Van de Beek until next summer.

The Dutch midfielder moved to Old Trafford from Ajax in a highly-anticipated deal last summer. However, it has been downhill for him since the start after struggling for playing time under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Things took a turn for the worse when Van de Beek was ruled out for Euro 2020 due to a groin injury, and thus his gruesome season came to an end.

The former Ajax star could look for a move away from Old Trafford this summer after going down the pecking order of Solskjaer.

Elsewhere, Madrid are braced for a busy summer window as new manager Carlo Ancelotti is likely to add reinforcements.

Van de Beek looks like an excellent option for the La Liga giants as he can bring more quality to the midfield.

With Luka Modric and Toni Kroos reaching the twilight, Real must bring in a top player in the midfield.

Van de Beek’s understanding of pace, the knack of arriving late in the box makes him suitable for the Spanish capital club.

It remains to be seen whether Madrid would prioritize a move for the Dutch international as players like Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland are understood to be their top targets.
