Ronaldo left with no suitors despite Juventus interested in selling him

The Bianconeri are reportedly interested in selling Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.

Juventus have reportedly planned to sell their star player Cristiano Ronaldo this summer, citing his high wages.

Although his performances haven’t been doubted, the Bianconeri are finding his 27m pounds annual salary far-fetched, especially when he is in the twilight of his career.

However, the Portuguese star appears to have no suitors at the moment, which implies that he could end up staying with Serie A outfit this summer.

His former club Real Madrid have been one of the interested parties, but they are understood to have different plans on their mind – signing players like Erling Haaland Kylian Mbappe.

Manchester United might have closed the door for a reunion with Ronaldo as they have spent significant money for the transfers of Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane. Most importantly, they are working hard to secure the future of Paul Pogba.

PSG had been touted as the possible destination for the 36-year-old before Lionel Messi’s sensational swoop in the last minute threw a spanner in the works.

There have been rumours that Ronaldo could replace Mbappe at Parc des Princes, but the possibilities are less as the French Cup winner is likely to stay put this summer.

It leaves Ronaldo with no options other than playing out the final year of his contract with the Old Lady.

Juve will enter into the new season with the aim of winning the Scudetto after a disappointing 2020/21 season.

New manager Max Allegri has already stated that Ronaldo would be pivotal to the Old Lady alongside Paulo Dybala.
