The 2021/22 season is already underway across Europe, and plenty of youngsters are starting to turn the heads of many with their impressive form. Here are the ten best young talents who could be breakout stars this season.

Noni Madueke (PSV)

Madueke announced himself after becoming an integral part of PSV Eindhoven last season. The 19-year-old is off to a great start to the new season, registering two goals to his name in Eredivisie so far.

Conor Gallagher (Crystal Palace)

The 21-year-old was one of the standout players in Crystal Palace’s 3-0 routing of Tottenham Hotspur last week. Gallagher is currently on loan from Chelsea, and he has a great chance to become one of the breakout stars of the Premier League this term.

Giovanni Reyna (Borussia Dortmund)

USMNT star Gio Reyna is already being rated as one of the finest teen talents in Europe after his impressive season at Dortmund last term. The 18-year-old is off to a quickfire start to this season’s Bundesliga, collecting 2 goals in 3 games so far. Reyna has also been tipped for a move to Europe’s top clubs by his former coach.

Aurelien Tchouaemeni (Monaco)

Tchouaemeni has been receiving recognition of late after Premier League giants Manchester United’s alleged interest in signing him. But for the followers of Ligue 1, the 18-year-old is a familiar name following his brilliant season at AS Monaco last term. The French defensive midfielder has also earned three senior caps thus far.

Sven Botman (Lille)

The young Dutch defender was part of the Lille side that lifted the Ligue 1 title last season. The 21-year-old was raised through the famed Ajax academy and had the tendency to become a breakout star like Matthijs De Ligt did years ago.

Ilaix Moriba (RB Leipzig)

Ilaix Moriba made his first appearance for Barcelona under Ronald Koeman last season and subsequently became the Dutch manager’s preferred choice. However, in the summer transfer window, the French midfielder, who is likened to his compatriot Paul Pogba, completed a move to RB Leipzig. The 18-year-old has all the talent to become one of the best breakout stars in the Bundesliga.

Florian Wirtz (Bayer Leverkusen)

The German attacking midfielder has helped Bayer Leverkusen to a tremendous start in Bundesliga, racking up 2 goals and 3 assists. Leverkusen suffered a 4-3 defeat against Dortmund last week, but Florian Wirtz stood out with a stellar display. Playing in the hole behind the striker, the 18-year-old brings a lot to the table, and he is seen as a future star of the German national team, with whom he has already earned 3 senior caps.

Devyne Rensch (Ajax)

Rensch is another star to come out of Ajax’s talent factory, and he is currently helping the Amsterdam outfit ease the absence of Sergino Dest, who moved to Barcelona in the summer of 2020. The 18-year-old is an exciting talent to watch out for in Eredivisie this season, having recently earned his maiden cap for the Netherlands national team

Karim Adeyemi (RB Salzburg)

Karim Adeyemi broke into public eyes after scoring in his debut for the German national team during the international break. The 18-year-old, who is currently on the radar of European giants, is off to a flyer in the Austrian Bundesliga this season, scoring 7 goals in 7 matches for RB Salzburg.
