Hyderabad 1-1 Jamshedpur: Eze scores late to cancel out Santana goal

Aridane Santana-Hyderabad FC

Jamshedpur FC were held to a 1-1 draw against Hyderabad FC in the Indian Super League earlier today.

Aridane Santana scored the opening goal of the game to give Hyderabad their lead on the 55th minute but Jamshedpur got back into the game five minutes from time when Stephen Eze scored the equaliser from inside the box.

Jamshedpur managed to score a goal on the 70th minute but it was disallowed by the referee.

Hyderabad remain unbeaten in the Indian Super League so far but Jamshedpur are yet to pick up their first win of the tournament.

It will be interesting to see if Jamshedpur can bounce back strongly in their next game now.

They will have to improve a lot in order to do well in the Indian Super League this season.

Jamshedpur did well to dominate the proceedings in the first quarter of the game and the home side was struggling to cope with them defensively.

However, Hyderabad grew into the game and manage to stamp their authority in the second half. They will be slightly disappointed to have dropped two points here especially after leading for 85 minutes.

Both sides will know that they have to improve further but Jamshedpur are under immense pressure to get their first win of the season now.
