Arsenal Transfer: La Liga ace targeted, Willian opens up on his struggles, Lacazette wanted by three clubs

Nabil Fekir on the radar

Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Real Betis star Nabil Fekir this summer as they look for reinforcements in the middle of the park.

Fekir made a shocking switch to Betis in the summer of 2019 and he is currently rated at £77m.

Alongside Fekir, the Gunners are also tracking his Betis teammate Guido Rodriguez.

However, it has been added that Barcelona are standing in the way of Arsenal as the Catalan club also want to recruit Fekir this summer, but his valuation proves to be a stumbling block.

Lacazette wanted by three clubs

Alexandre Lacazette, whose future at the Emirates Stadium is tentative, has been subject to a three-way transfer battle from Atletico Madrid, Sevilla and Roma.

Lacazette has never lived up to his full potential as his form has been quite fluctuating since his transfer from Lyon in 2017.

Now with the Frenchman entering the final year of his contract, there is no shortage of suitors for him.

Willian calls the Arsenal struggles the worst in his career.

Arsenal winger Willian has revealed that the rough patch he had at the start of the season is the worst in his career.

The Brazilian moved to the Emirates Stadium on a free transfer last summer but struggled initially to find his foot right.

“It really was a very difficult start, apart from that first game against Fulham, where I had a good performance [setting up two of the three goals in a 3-0 win], I managed to make a good game.

“I also got a bad streak and I think my worst professional time to date, since I went up at Corinthians and was sold to Ukraine, then I arrived at Chelsea, without a doubt. This phase that passed now was the worst time that I think I lived as a professional.”
