Forbes have announced their list of 20 most valuable football clubs in the world and Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid are unsurprisingly at the top of the pile.
According to the report, Barcelona have overtaken Real Madrid to claim the top spot despite their massive financial debt of more than £1 billion.
Real Madrid are currently in second place. The Spanish outfit are valued at £3.46 million and £3.45 billion respectively.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are at the top when it comes to Premier League clubs and the Old Trafford outfit are valued at £3.06 billion.
German champions Bayern Munich have claimed the third spot in the rankings just about the Red Devils with a valuation of £3.07 billion.
Five other Premier League clubs have made it to the top 10.
Defending champions Liverpool are valued at £2.98 billion. Meanwhile, the likes of Manchester City ( £ 2.91 billion), Chelsea ( £ 2.33 billion) and Arsenal ( £ 2.04 billion) complete the top 8.
French giants Paris Saint-Germain are ninth in the rankings with a valuation of £1.82 billion and Tottenham Hotspur complete the top ten with a valuation of £1.67 billion.
According to the report, the club that has shown the most amount of growth over the past two years is Liverpool who have seen an increase of 88% in their value after clinching the Premier League title and the Champions League title.
Italian champions Juventus have dropped out of the top 10 rankings and they will be hoping to increase their brand value by signing quality players and winning major owners in the coming months.
