Jadon Sancho Transfer: Liverpool, Manchester United both interested

Jadon Sancho Transfer Liverpool, Manchester United both interested

Liverpool and Manchester United have been linked with a move for the Dortmund star Jadon Sancho.

The England International is one of the best players in Europe right now and whoever ends up signing him will have a future superstar on their hands.

The former Manchester City player has the quality to improve every team in the Premier League.

According to former Liverpool player Glen Johnson, Sancho will find it hard to turn down Liverpool if the Reds come calling.

He said: “Sancho has been linked with almost all of Europe’s top clubs, but from my perspective he’ll surely find it very hard to turn down Liverpool if they come knocking.

“They’ve got one of the best managers in the world in Jurgen Klopp, they’re European champions and are going to win the Premier League, so it would be very tough to not be seriously tempted if they were after Sancho’s signature.”

Liverpool have two world-class wingers in Mane and Salah and it will be interesting to see if they decide to splash out on Sancho.

The Dortmund winger is likely to cost a lot this summer and although the Reds have the means to pull off a marquee signing like that, it wouldn’t make sense.

Klopp should look to add more depth to his midfield and defence instead with that money.

On paper, Sancho seems like an ideal fit for Liverpool but Klopp would have to alter his lineup in order to accommodate the player.

Either of Mane or Salah will have to play as the striker. Sancho is at his best when he is playing from the right flank, which is usually occupied by Salah at Liverpool.

Johnson’s claims make sense because Liverpool are one of the best clubs in Europe right now and any player would find it hard to turn them down.

It will be interesting to see if the Reds make their move for Sancho in the coming months.
