Arsenal prepared to sell Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in January

Aubameyang-Arsenal

Arsenal recently stripped Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of the club captaincy and it seems that they are willing to cash in on him next month.

According to ESPN, the Gunners are willing to listen to offers for the 32-year-old Premier League striker and it will be interesting to see if there are any suitors for the Gabon international.

Aubameyang was recently stripped of the captaincy after a series of disciplinary issues and the player is currently training away from his teammates.

The striker has not been at his best this season and he has struggled to hit top form for Arsenal. It is no surprise that Arsenal are looking to get rid of the player given his massive wages of around £250,000 a week.

The 32-year-old is past his peak and he’s unlikely to get any better with time.

It would be a wise move for the Gunners to cash in on the player and invest in a younger striker. The Londoners have been linked with the likes of Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina and it will be interesting to see how the situation unfolds over the next few weeks.

Apparently, the likes of BarcelonaInter MilanAC Milan and Chelsea are keeping tabs on the striker’s situation and it will be interesting to see where the 32-year-old ends up.

On form, the 32-year-old can be a top-class player and a quality short term addition for the likes of Barcelona.

The Spanish club needs to improve their attacking options especially after the retirement of Sergio Aguero and Aubameyang could prove to be an interesting addition in the short term.
