Liverpool are thought to be interested in signing the Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo.
The attacking midfielder has been linked with Tottenham in the recent months as well. Zaniolo is highly rated in Italy and he would be a good addition to Klopp’s midfield.
The Roma ace can play as the number ten or as a wide playmaker. He could fit into a variety of roles under Klopp next season.
It will be interesting to see if the Reds submit an offer for him in the coming weeks.
They can certainly afford someone like Zaniolo and it would be a good long term investment for them as well.
Liverpool have a talented young core at their disposal and Zaniolo will be another addition to it.
Klopp could be the manager to bring out the best in Zaniolo and help him fulfill his potential.
The German has worked wonders with the current set of youngsters at his disposal.
If the Reds come calling, it is highly likely that Zaniolo will be tempted. Liverpool are a bigger club and they are one of the best in Europe right now.
Roma cannot offer him a platform as big as the Premier League. Furthermore, they are unlikely to challenge for titles and Champions Leagues as regularly as Liverpool either.
On top of that, Liverpool could offer him a better financial package as well.
The Reds have negotiated with Roma before and they will fancy their chances of securing the transfer if they are truly keen on the player.
