Manchester City have been heavily linked with a move for the Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane this summer.

The Premier League giants are now prepared to do everything in their power to sign the player and they are looking to offer around £150 million to sign the England international in the final two weeks of the transfer window.

The 28-year-old has been a key player for the London club and the club chairman Daniel Levy is reluctant to sell the player this summer.

However, sources indicate that an offer of around £150 million could force the spurs chairman to come to the negotiating table.

Manchester City have already splashed out around £100 million on Jack Grealish earlier on in the summer and they are prepared to shatter the British transfer record once again by signing Harry Kane.

The player is thought to be angling for a move away from Tottenham this summer and Manchester City are his preferred destination. It is understandable why he wants to move away this summer.

The England striker is 28 and he has won nothing at club level yet. He will be desperate to end his wait for silverware before he is past his peak.

Kane won the Premier League golden boot last season and he will be the ideal replacement for Manchester City legend Sergio Aguero who left the club earlier this year.

It is evident that the transfer saga will go down right to the wire and it will be interesting to see if the two Premier League clubs can come to an agreement that benefits them both.
