Chelsea have completed a club-record deal to sign the Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku.

The 28-year-old helped Inter Milan win the Italian league last season with 30 goals across all competitions and he will be hoping to make his mark in the Premier League now.

The Belgian was sold by Chelsea a few years ago after failing to hold down a regular starting berth at Stamford Bridge and the player will feel that he has unfinished business at the club.

Since joining Inter Milan from Manchester United, Romelu Lukaku has developed into one of the best players in the world and he has been outstanding for club and country over the past year.

Chelsea needed to solve their goalscoring problems in order to challenge for the Premier League title and the arrival of Lukaku could prove to be a smart choice.

The player has now revealed that he wants to spend the rest of his career with the Blues and he’s delighted to return to the London club.

The fans will certainly be excited to see their new signing in action soon and Lukaku could make his Premier League debut against Arsenal on Sunday.

He said: “It’s the right move for me for the rest of my career because, with a lot of maturity and experience, you come back as a player who can hopefully add something to the team. The coach wanted something different to add to the team. I think I’m different from all the players that he has.”
