Man United considering a move for Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni
Manchester United are reportedly interested in Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni and are set to make an offer before the end of the transfer window.
Tchouameni is one of the brightest prospects in Europe and has attracted interest from Europe’s top clubs.
The 21-year-old joined Monaco from Bordeaux at the start of the last year and enjoyed a stellar 2020/21 season, helping Niko Kovac’s men to finish inside the top-four.
Despite playing as a holding midfielder, the French prospect managed to rack up 4 goals and 4 assists last season.
The Premier League side have already bolstered the squad with the addition of Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane and Tchouameni’s transfer would be the icing on the cake.
The Red Devils are also linked with midfielders like Saul Niguez, Eduardo Camavinga and Leon Goretzka.
Andreas Pereira set for loan move to Flamengo
Brazilian outfit Flamengo have reportedly agreed to sign United midfielder Andreas Pereira on a season-long loan.
The 25-year-old spent the last season on loan at Lazio, who eventually opted against his permanent transfer.
After returning to Old Trafford, Pereira looked bright in the pre-season but he was always never in the plans of manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The 25-year-old joined the Red Devils first team in 2014 but failed to make an impact over the course and he often found himself getting loaned to clubs like Valencia and Granada.
Flamengo will reportedly pay a loan fee of 1m euros in addition to Pereira’s 60% salary. They have the option to buy him permanently at the end of the season.
