Nuno could sell six players this summer

Newly appointed Tottenham Hotspur manager Nuno Espirito Santo is looking for a major summer revamp, and six players could be on their way out of the club this summer.

According to reportsLucas MouraErik LamelaHarry WinksMoussa SissokoSerge Aurier and Davinson Sanchez are all on the chopping block.

As mentioned earlier, all of the players have struggled to establish themselves as key players for Tottenham over the last few seasons, and it is no surprise that Nuno is looking to cash in on them.

The funds raised from their sales will allow the Portuguese manager to bring in his own players and reinforce the side ahead of the start of the new season.

With the European Championships now concluded, Tottenham are expected to ramp up their transfer business and prepare for the new season.

Tomiyasu deal close

Meanwhile, reports claim that Tottenham are now closing in on their first summer signing.

The London club are set to sign the Japanese international Takehiro Tomiyasu for a fee of around £15 million.

The 22-year-old defender had an impressive season with Bologna last year, and he could prove to be a quality long term investment for the Premier League side.

Spurs need to bring in more defensive depth, and the Japanese international seems like an ideal fit. Tomiyasu can play as a centre back as well as a full back.

The Londoners will need to strengthen their attack and midfield now.
