Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling.

The 26-year-old struggled to hold down a regular starting berth with the Premier League champions last season, and the arrival of Jack Grealish this summer could push him further down the pecking order.

According to Sun, Spurs are now weighing up a summer move for the England international.

Despite his struggles at Manchester City last year, Sterling showed that he is a world-class player during the European Championships. He could prove to be an outstanding addition to the Tottenham attack.

Meanwhile, Manchester City are trying to sign Harry Kane from the London club, and it will be interesting to see if the two parties can work out a swap deal involving Sterling and Kane.

It is no secret that Nuno Espirito Santo will have to add more quality and depth to his attack, and the arrival of Sterling will certainly add pace, creativity and goals to the side.

Ideally, Tottenham will look to hold on to their star striker Harry Kane and then add Sterling to their ranks, but it might not be possible economically.

The Londoners will have to strengthen the other areas of their squad, and bringing in a quality right pack should be a top priority for them.
