Real Madrid ready to end Gareth Bale contract

Zidane clarified Bale part of Real Madrid plans

Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale could be shown the door at the end of this season.

As per reports, the Wales international is unwanted at the club and Los Blancos are furious with his antics from the bench recently.

The player was seen trolling the manager from the stands recently and Zidane wants him out of the club.

Bale has not featured in any of the last five games and Real Madrid seem to be doing just fine without him. The former Spurs ace is on huge wages and getting him off the books could be a relief for Real Madrid financially.

That said, Bale has two years left on his current deal and Real Madrid are willing to pay him off so that he can leave on a free transfer.

The player has shown no desire to fight for a starting berth this season and he seems happy to play golf and waste away on the bench.

It will be interesting to see how the situation unfolds. As things stand, it would be wise of Real Madrid to cash in on the player. They cannot afford to have such a high earner on the payroll, especially with zero contribution.

Bale has been linked with a return to the Premier League this summer and it will be interesting to see where he ends up. On his day he can still be a world class player but unfortunately the 30-year-old is seriously lacking in motivation.
