Napoli

Napoli will look to bounce back from a disappointing loss to Atalanta in the Serie A when they welcome English side Leicester City to Naples.

The Serie A side were beaten 3-2 by Atalanta on Saturday; with goals from Ruslan Malinovsky, Merih Demiral and Remo Freuler making the difference despite the best efforts of Piotr Zielinski and Dries Mertens for Napoli.

The result means that Napoli have now relinquished their position at the top of the Serie A and have dropped down to the third place.

In the UEFA Europa League, they are also sitting third in Group C after five games, one point behind Leicester and one ahead of Legia in fourth.

Despite their position, Luciano Spalletti’s side can still finish in the top two places and qualify for the next round if they win this game. Even a draw will not be enough to secure UEL football unless  Spartak Moscow loses to Legia in the other group game.

With just one win from their last six games (D2, L3), they come into this tie on poor form. However, they will fancy their chances against a Leicester side who are also struggling badly.

Possible Napoli starting line-ups

David Ospina; Juan Jesus, Amir Rrahmani, Giovanni Di Lorenzo; Kelvin Malcuit, Stanislav Lobotka, Piotr Zielinski, Mario Rui; Hirving Lozano, Eljif Elmas, Dries Mertens.

Injured: Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa, Victor Osimhen, Kalidou Koulibaly

Doubtful: Lorenzo Insigne, Fabian Ruiz

Suspended: None

Leicester City

Leicester City travel to Italy looking to book a place in the next round of the Europa League.

The Foxes come into this tie on the back of a 2-1 loss to Aston Villa in the Premier League – their third loss in the last eight games. It was also the 15th consecutive game they had failed to keep a clean sheet highlighting where their struggles have come from this season.

Despite their struggles, Brendan Rodgers’ side are sitting atop their UEL group and can book a place in the next round if they can take just a point from this game.

However, they will be desperate to win this game and guarantee that they finish top of the group.

Possible Leicester starting line-ups

Kasper Schmeichel; Timothy Castagne, Jonny Evans, Caglar Soyuncu, Luke Thomas; Wilfred Ndidi, Boubakary Soumare; Ademola Lookman, James Maddison, Harvey Barnes; Jamie Vardy.

Injured: Ricardo Pereira, Wesley Fofana, James Justin, Nampalys Mendy

Doubtful: Youri Tielemans

Suspended: None
