Aguero admitted to the hospital due to chest pain

Sergio Aguero suffered from chest pain and dizziness during Barcelona‘s weekend La Liga clash against Alaves.

The Argentine striker started for the Catalans but couldn’t continue beyond halftime, with Philippe Coutinho replacing him for the rest of the game.

Barca’s interim manager Sergi Barjuan spoke about Aguero’s injury after the game, stating that the former Manchester City man had been taken to hospital to undergo further tests.

Barjuan said (h/t Goal): “Aguero was taken away. I have asked him. He told me he was a little dizzy. I have found out now that they have taken him to the hospital to see what he really has. I do not know any more.”

Barca also stated in an official statement that Aguero would undergo a cardiac test.

Xavi eyeing a move for Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman

According to Football Espana, Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman has emerged as a top target for Xavi, who is reportedly set to take charge as the new manager of Barcelona.

While it has been reported that the former midfielder wants to sign Raheem Sterling and Jules Kounde, Coman is also running high on his wishlist.

Coman’s contract at Allianz Arena expires in the summer of 2023 but the Bavarians could be forced to sell him at the end of this season if they fail to extend his deal.

The French winger has failed to be a regular under Julian Nagelsmann this season, with the likes of Leroy Sane, Serge Gnabry, Jamal Musiala up in the pecking order.
