Man United Transfer Update - Camavinga, Ighalo, Sancho-Sanchez Swap

Manchester United are keen on signing the Ligue 1 starlet Eduardo Camavinga this summer.

As per Metro, the Red Devils have checked on the teenager almost a dozen times in the last year and their head of global scouting, Marcel Bout has made a personal check on the midfielder.

It will be interesting to see if the Red Devils manage to sign Camavinga.

He is a world class talent and he has already shown his quality against the likes of PSG this season. A club like Manchester United could nurture him into a superstar.

Manchester United could use a technically gifted midfielder like him if Pogba moves on. That said, Camavinga is very young and he will need time to properly adapt to English football and showcase his true potential.

The Red Devils have the financial means to pull this off but they will face competition from the likes of Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, on-loan striker Odion Ighalo wants to extend his stay at the club.

His loan deal expires soon and he has requested his parent club to let him finish the current Premier League season with the Red Devils.

The season would have been over by now if not for the Coronavirus delay and Ighalo wants to play the remaining games.

The Premier League season could resume soon and it will be interesting to see if Ighalo gets his wish. The former Watford ace has done well at United since moving to Old Trafford earlier this year.

Speculation has been rife about the future of the Jadon Sancho, who has dazzled this season with 14 goals and 17 assists in 26 appearances of 2019-20 campaign.

Alexis Sanchez, who is currently with Inter Milan on loan, is not part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans and Red Devils are willing to let the Chilean leave the club in the summer.

The former Barcelona forward, who gets a staggering £500,000-a-week, struggled to rediscover his best form at United and he has had similar form and fitness issues with Inter.

Sancho is United’s top target this summer and Dortmund are demanding in excess of £100million for his services.
