Jurgen Klopp heaps praise on Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick

Jurgen Klopp reaction, after Liverpool won Premier League

Manchester United have appointed German manager Ralf Rangnick as their interim boss until the end of the season.

The Red Devils recently sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after a disappointing start to the Premier League campaign.

Rangnick has held managerial as well as administrative roles at various clubs and his experience could prove to be useful for a struggling Manchester United side.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has now shared his reaction to the arrival of his compatriot in the Premier League.

Klopp believes that Rangnick is an outstanding manager who has proven his pedigree in Germany before and his arrival at Manchester United is bad news for other teams.

The Liverpool manager has also predicted that United will be well organised on the pitch under the new manager.

“Unfortunately, a good manager is coming to England to Manchester United,” said Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp.

“United will be organised on the pitch, we should realise that – that’s obviously not good news for other teams. He is a really good man and an outstanding coach. He most famously built two clubs from nowhere – Hoffenheim and Leipzig – to proper threats and forces in Germany. He did a lot of different jobs in football but always his first concern was being a coach and a manager. That’s what his best skill is, obviously. Between the coaches (in Germany) he is very highly regarded, and wherever he was he did an incredible job.”

Rangnick will join Manchester United on a six-month deal as their manager and he will then move on to a consultancy role which will last for the next two years.

Manchester United are in desperate need of someone who can rebuild the club from top to bottom and Rangnick has proven his expertise in such a role over the years. His contribution at Hoffenheim and RB Leipzig in particular where he rebuilt the two clubs from scratch will certainly excite the Manchester United fans.

It remains to be seen whether the German can transform Manchester united’s form in the coming weeks and help them finish in the top four this season.
