Big clubs, including LiverpoolArsenal and AC Milan, are showing interest in Real Madrid winger. But Newcastle United are on their way to surpassing these elite clubs. The Magpies manager Eddie Howe is keen to upgrade his squad this summer, according to Sky Sports.

Newcastle United sees Marco Asensio as a great asset that will complete their new project. And the club are willing to compete with the transfer budgets of Europe’s top clubs to sign the Spanish international.

Asensio’s contract will run out in a year; Real Madrid‘s current president Florentino Perez thinks, perhaps prefer to sell Asensio than letting him leave for free on June 30, 2023. It is believed, that the forward could cost the potential suitor around €25-30m (£21.6m-£25.8m).

Newcastle spent a lot since January to sign Bruno Guimaraes (£40m), Chris Wood (£25m), Dan Burn (£13m) and Kieran Trippier (£12m); overall, they spent £90million. Given these new signings, the Magpies made sensible decisions rather than statement signings.

Magpies are levelling and gambling to chances of investing potential players to help them eventually progress in Premier League.

The excitement is starting to be clear in Premier League. It has also been reported that Asensio is willing to take a pay cut to join a ‘convincing project’, which is likely to include more playing time for himself. Marco Asensio is a three-time La Liga and Champions League winner with Real Madrid.
