Juventus president Agnelii lashes out at Dybala over contract comments

Juventus 2-0 Inter Ramsey, Dybala scored, as Juve moved to top

The Argentine ace has recently claimed that he is yet to receive a proposal from Juve regarding a new contract.

Juventus president Andrea Agnelli has hit out at Paulo Dybala for his comments over a contract extension.

The 27-year-old was on target during Juve’s 3-1 win against Genoa and it was also during which he scored his first goal in Serie A this season.

Dybala has fallen down the pecking order of Juve gaffer Andrea Pirlo, which saw him often linked with an exit from Turin.

However, the Argentine denied such interest as sees his future with the Old Lady.

Dybala said,  “My agent was in Turin for a long time and was never called up.”

“It disappoints me to hear talk of invested financial figures. It would be better if the truth could be told, because talking about those figures in the current situation pits the fans against me, with all the love I have for Juventus.”

Agnelli also responded to Dybala’s comments, insisting the Argentine to show his answers on the pitch.

The Bianconeri president said, “We see him(Dybala) as the captain of the future.

“I know he has already received a proposal that would put him among the top twenty most paid players in Europe. We’re looking forward to his response, the most important thing is to see his answer on the pitch. We all want him to be one of the top five players in Europe, he’s still not among them and he is aware of it.
