CR7 in Juventus…
It is rumoured that due to his differences with Real Madrid president, Florentino Pérez, over his fees, Cristiano Ronaldo decided to move to Juventus. He had a remarkable 2018-19 season after a slow start. Though Juventus did not have much luck in Champions League and had a shock defeat against Ajax, which ended their campaign last year.

As we went through five of Manchester United players and two Real Madrid players who inherited jersey No. 7, were not only failed to match Cristiano Ronaldo performance but were unsuccessful as a significant contributor to the team.
For Manchester United, five of Ronaldo’s successors together scored 13 goals in Premier league, whereas Cristiano went on to score 337 goals for Real Madrid and Juventus combined during the same period.
For Real Madrid, Mariano and Hazard scored 4 goals combined from 20 matches, whereas Ronaldo scored 26 goals in 41 matches.
Among the seven, statistically, Mariano looks the best, but he fell out of favour with new Real boss Zinedine Zidane. Zidane has never considered Mariano to play for Real Madrid after he took charge.
For Eden Hazard, who came with many expectations did not look like the Galacticos, Real can depend upon or who can turn the game for Madrid outfits. Benzema kept on scoring, and Real had to fall back on Gareth Bale. Perhaps Bale was the player from Real; the opposition would not want to see in the team. Unfortunately, the sam was true for Real boss.
Hope Hazard would be able reverse his fortune in Real Madrid during coming days. He would be the best bet to revive jersey No.7 after Raul and Ronaldo in Real Madrid. Till then, the shadow of Ronaldo will be looming over Bernabeu.
