Ferencvaros 1-4 Juventus: Morata double seals 3-points for Juventus

Paulo Dybala-Juventus

Juventus have comprehensively defeated Ferencvaros at home as Alvaro Morata and Paulo Dybala scored the goals for Serie A champions.

Juventus have claimed all three points after defeating Ferencvaros 4-1 at Puskas Arena.

The Bianconeri went with a strong playing 11 as Arthur and Cristiano Ronaldo started the game.

Juve opened the account much sooner after Alvaro Morata found the nets. Juan Cuadrado crossed the ball into the box, which then inadvertently went through the legs of Ronaldo before finding Morata.

Ronaldo could have added two more in either half but his finishing in the final third was not at it’s best.

Morata completed his double in the 60th minute and simultaneously the scoreboard also got doubled. Cuadrado performed a brilliant dummy of Ronaldo’s pass before Morata fired into the nets.

A couple of defensive errors led to Paulo Dybala’s goal. Dybala also forced an own goal by Dvali in 81st minute. The hosts got their consolation goal at the end of the game through Boli’s strike.

It was a convincing display from the Bianconeri and the win also served as a come back from their defeat against Barcelona in the previous fixture.

Morata continues to impress under Andrea Pirlo as the Spaniard has already six goals this season, four of them were in the Champions League.

It was also good to see the veteran duo Chiellini and Bonucci in the same lineup and the imminent arrival of Matthijs de Ligt could further strengthen Juve’s defence.

The Bianconeri will next play Lazio in Serie A this weekend.
